Annika, who has been with OTSA since 2007, was appointed managing director in July 2011. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and the relationships it has with its clients, government and industry organisations. The business is growing strongly, both through existing clients and through new clients wanting agency representation. Annika is responsible for ensuring OTSA offers its customers the very highest level of service. She currently manages a wide portfolio of the most successful trade shows worldwide (UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden, USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and South Africa), covering a variety of different sectors such as aerospace, pharmaceutical and healthcare, travel and tourism, security and safety, food, drink and hospitality, fashion, furniture and interior design, giftware and homeware, consumer electronics, transport technology, agriculture, building and mining. Her academic background includes a BA (Hons) in business marketing management (Oxford, England), a Masters in international marketing (Florence, Italy), as well as the IPA certificate (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) and the IDM certificate (Institute of Direct Marketing). She previously worked for a top ranking media and advertising agency in London, and has work experience in different sectors (including IT and telecoms, charity, marketing consultancy, fashion and media) and from different countries (Sweden, USA, UK, Italy). Swedish born, she speaks Swedish and English fluently, and has a good knowledge of German, Danish and Norwegian.
