Elizabeth met Bryan Montgomery when she was a partner in the solicitors' firm then called Wilkinson Kimbers and Staddon, which acted for Andry Montgomery. Elizabeth was invited onto the Board as a non-executive director in 1992. She also works part-time as an advisory lawyer in the Government Legal Service. Elizabeth enjoys walking, cycling, travelling and the theatre.
